August has been a busy month! Most of my reads this month were ARCs in an effort to tame that bursting list, although I did manage to fit in a few backlist titles too. I published my 100th blog post earlier this month and also hit 200 followers! Thank you so much to my readers and subscribers for all your support!

Other posts & reviews this month
And as promised, here are my reading challenge updates:
1. Beat the Backlist: This month, I read 4 books from my backlist, one of them just in time to read the sequel which releases next week! I’m also going to try the backlist bingo for this challenge, so look out for that in my next wrap up.
2. Year of Epic Reads:
- Challenge of the Month: READ A BOOK THAT’S BEEN ON YOUR TBR FOREVER
Tackle the TBR that we KNOW you have building up! Take a break for like, a week, at least, and read a book that you already own and have been telling yourself you’ll get to. If you’ve been waiting for a sign, this is it! Read that book!
Chosen Book: Invictus – Ryan Graudin
I added this to my TBR back in 2017 when I was going through a time travel phase in my reading choices, but somehow never managed to get around to it. I finally read, or rather listened, to it this month, and it turned out to be a pretty good read! From the sinking of the Titanic to the burning library of Alexandria, Invictus is about a group of time travelling thieves who jump through time to some history’s most significant events to steal priceless objects that were lost in these disasters. Highly recommended!
