Answers to questions:
1. What do you get from blogging? In what way does blogging satisfy you?
I find it to be a fun and satisfying hobby. I read all the time anyway, but blogging is somehow more constructive since I can put down my thoughts and share them in a coherent manner. Blogging keeps me so much more organized, and reading on a schedule drastically reduces my backlog at the end of the year. Also, I’ve never really needed it, but blogging also motivates me to read more. A bonus is that it helps me keep in touch with writing, since my full time job is an entirely different field and doesn’t really allow any opportunities for that.
2. If you could be doing anything at all right now, what would you be doing?
I’d definitely be on vacation. Due to the pandemic, I had to cancel three trips which I was really looking forward to and have some seriously itchy feet due to not being able to travel.
3. From the field of your blog’s niche, whose work would you most love to promote?
My niche is predominantly YA fantasy, and while I haven’t come across another blog with the exact same niche, I do enjoy reading the blog I’m All Booked Up since they have very similar tastes to mine in YA novels.
4. What project lays dormant in your heart right now, waiting to come out when you’re ready?
Well, I’d like to write a book someday, but inspiration has yet to strike.
5. What do you tell people scares you the most when you cannot tell the truth?
I don’t think I’ve ever been asked that question before, but I would think that only someone very close to me would ever ask that, so I could tell them the truth, which is a fear of heights.
Thank you again to S. G. Baker for nominating me! Here are my nominees:
1. Bossy Librarian
2. I’m All Booked Up
3. Witty and Sarcastic Book Club
4. Bookish Heights
5. Anna’s Book Nook
I really loved some of the questions that were asked of me so I’m choosing to repeat a few. My questions are:
1. What do you get from blogging? In what way does blogging satisfy you?
2. What are some of your hobbies apart from reading/blogging?
3. If you could be doing anything at all right now, what would you be doing?
4. What is your writing process like for an average blog post?
5. What are a few blogs that you look to for inspiration?
Thank you for the mention and the nomination 🙂
