End of the Year Book Tag
Blogmas Day 24

Good morning readers, and Happy Christmas Eve! For the penultimate day of Blogmas, I’m doing a book tag! I found this tag on Green Tea & Paperbacks and this is a tag I loved reading on so many blogs last year that I just had to do it myself this year. Now that I’m done with the majority of my reading for the year, I have a good idea of how many more I can get through in this last week and it’s the perfect time for a tag like this!

Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?

Stain by A.G. Howard and Bloodwitch by Susan Dennard are both books I’ve started and stopped reading atleast half a dozen times this year (and last year to be honest). They’re on the top of my backlist pile, and Bloodwitch in particular is one I have to finish because the sequel, Witchshadow, is out in less than two months.

Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?

I’m not much of a seasonal reader, so no autumnal books in particular.

Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?

Surprisingly enough, no! The only December releases I had on my TBR were The Cousins and A Sky Beyond the Storm, and I’ve managed to finish reading them – both are fantastic!

What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?

I’m still working my way through The Priory of the Orange Tree, but I’m also hoping to finish Dawn of Legends by Eleanor Herman and Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor.

Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favourite book of the year?

Highly unlikely. I’ve all but completed my 2020 TBR and the only major title left is Hilary Mantel’s The Mirror and the Light, which I’m sure I’ll enjoy, but I don’t think it can surpass some of the ones I’ve already read this year.

Have you already started making reading plans for 2021?

Absolutely! I started adding books to my 2021 TBR way back in May, and have been setting goals accordingly too!

I’m not going to be tagging anyone specifically, but do feel free to do this tag if you like it. Make sure to link back so I can read your answers!
