So I was supposed to post my review of Rule of Wolves today, but I’m honestly still processing it and I want my review to be somewhat coherent, so I’m delaying it until Sunday. In the meantime though, I’m doing another book tag today. I came across this tag on Kira Jeanette and it was originally created by Brianna @ Brianna’s Books and Randomness. I’ve definitely been rereading more than usual over the past year or two, so I figured this would be a fun tag to try!
A childhood favorite you could read 100 times and still love
So many to choose from! Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery is always one that I love to reread.
A book you DNF’d but would be willing to give a second chance to
Stain by A.G. Howard is a book I tried to get through for nearly three months and just couldn’t manage more than a handful of pages, but I really do want to go back and finish this.
A newer favorite you would reread
I read Lore by Alexandra Bracken earlier this year and it’s definitely one I want to reread at some point!
A book you hated and never want to read again
The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern. It honestly took every last bit of willpower I had to finish it and left me with a horrendous book hangover to boot. This book just did not work for me.
A classic you read in school but want to try again
I read an abridged version of Little Women by Louisa May Alcott in school, but I want to read the full version.
An author you would reread anything from
Cassandra Clare, without doubt. With the exception of maybe two or three of her earliest books, I adore all the novels in the Shadowhunters verse.
A series you want to reread for the fun of it
Warcross by Marie Lu! I’ve already reread this series I think 3 times, and it’s on my list again this year – it’s just such a fun read!
A series you want to reread for an adaption
I’m rereading Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo right now in preparation for the TV show which is out this Friday!
A book you’ve read but want to listen to the audiobook
And speaking of Leigh Bardugo, I really want to listen to the Six of Crows audiobook since I’ve heard so many good things about it!
Do you reread books often? I’m not going to be tagging anyone, but feel free to do this tag if you like it! Make sure to link back so I can read your answers!
Yes to Warcross, it was such a fun read. Even if I knew where the plot was going the ending of book 1 still makes me sob.

Same! Rereading Warcross makes me find something new to appreciate every single time.

We’d read Cassandra Clare’s grocery list if she published it lol.

In my very young’er days (smiles) I’d regularly re-read books. In my later years, I think I may have re-read a book once and it was a Respectable Trade by Philippa Gregory.

Thanks for reading! I only started re-reading books much later but it’s so much fun to go back to some old favourites!
