Book Blogger Confessions Tag

Hello readers! Today, I’m doing the Book Blogger Confessions Tag that I found on Hannah’s Bookshelf.

1. Which book, most recently, did you not finish?

I usually try my hardest to finish each book I pick up, so the last one that I didn’t finish was quite some time ago. I’ve attempted to finish Stain by A.G. Howard atleast half a dozen times, but for some reason, I can never get farther than the first few chapters.

2. Which book is your guilty pleasure?

I don’t consider any of the books I read as guilty pleasure because I aim to read what I enjoy. I guess the closest to this I can get is the Enid Blyton novels, which are really written for readers under the age of 10, but I still love rereading them when I get the time.

3. Which book do you love to hate?

I agree with Hannah for this one – definitely Twilight. I’ve never had a very high opinion of the books, but the movies set it in stone.

4. Which book would you throw into the sea?

Perhaps not literally, but Twilight, again, is certainly one book I would have no compunctions getting rid of.

5. Which book have you read the most?

This always keeps changing, but I believe currently it would be Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief.

6. Which book would you hate to receive as a present?

Believe it or not, I dislike receiving any books as presents unless I’ve specifically asked for them since I’m very particular about my bookshelves – so gift cards over books any day. As far as a specific book goes, I would really hate to receive any kind of non-fiction work or poetry.

7.  Which book could you not live without?

Lord of the Rings, definitely.

8. Which book made you the angriest?

The ending of The Fate of the Tearling nearly had me throwing the book across my room to be honest.

9. Which book made you cry the most?

It’s a novella, but The Assassin’s Blade by Sarah J. Maas.

10. Which book cover do you hate the most?

I guess, the original cover for Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi.

As usual, I won’t be tagging anyone, but feel free to do this tag if it interests you – I’d love to hear your answers for these questions!

What a fun tag! I’m with you about books as gifts (unless it’s on my list). It’s always great to hear about the likes and dislikes of other avid readers, so thanks for sharing!
