Monthly Wrap Up | November 2021 | Blogmas 2021: Day 1

Good morning readers, and welcome to my first post of Blogmas 2021! November has been an insanely busy month, so I’m less prepared for the upcoming weeks than I would like, but I have my fingers crossed that I’ll be able to catch up on some reading soon. Speaking of reading, this past month has been rather disappointing in the number of books I managed to get through, but on the bright side, I’m only 8 books away from my reading challenge goal! Let’s take a look at what was probably the quietest month on my blog in a while.

10 Books

3,731 Pages

Goodreads Challenge Progress: 144/150

Book of the Month

Rating: 4 out of 5.

After the events at the hospital, though Juliette managed to cover up the truth of what had been going on between her and Roma, her position as heir is very much at risk, as one false move will mean Tyler taking over. Having Roma hate her for supposedly killing Marshall is an acceptable cost to keep him safe. Roma is determined to kill Juliette to avenge Marshall, but there is another danger emerging in the city. The threat of the monster still lingers even as the situation in the city grows more tense by the day. Between the gangsters, Communists and Nationalists, Shanghai is about to descend into revolution, and in the midst of it all, Roma and Juliette must join hands once more, putting aside their differences to protect their city and people.
