End of the Year Book Tag | Blogmas 2021: Day 18

Welcome to Blogmas 2021 Day 18! With only 7 more days of Blogmas remaining, it’s time for the annual End of the Year Book Tag that I initially found on Green Tea and Paperbacks.

Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?

I’m currently reading Echoes and Empires by Morgan Rhodes, and I also need to finish Steelstriker and Vespertine.

Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?

No, I’m not really a seasonal reader.

Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?

No, all the books on my 2021 TBR have been released.

What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?

I’m hoping to finish The Nobleman’s Guide to Scandal and Shipwrecks, The Excalibur Curse and The Righteous before the end of the year. They’re all pretty recent releases, but I’m hoping my library holds will come through this week.

Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favourite book of the year?

Probably not. The only remaining titles I could see possibly ending up on my best of year shelves are She Who Became The Sun and Empire of the Vampire, but I doubt I’m going to get to them before the end of the year.

Have you already started making reading plans for 2022?

Yes! My 2022 TBR is still a work in progress, but I’m prepared for at least the next 4-5 months.

Feel free to do this tag if it interests you – I’d love to hear your answers for these questions!

There are so many great ones to choose from! Karen McManus’ next book Nothing More To Tell, Gallant, House of Sky and Breath, The Final Gambit, and of course, Chain of Thorns are all very high on my 2022 TBR!
